Meagan started working as a veterinary assistant and receptionist at My Pet’s Vet in January 2015. In 2011 Meagan received her Bachelors degree in Community Education from UW-Milwaukee. Meagan and her husband Rob are owned by her two cats, Soco and Moose. Soco is trying to tolerate the new family member. Moose being a crazy kitten, has made it a funny and interesting new adventure for the whole family.

Amanda Hitchcock has been a veterinary assistant and receptionist since 2006 and has been with My Pet’s Vet since 2012. She loves assisting with primary and critical care of all species, and has experience with handling and husbandry of cats, dogs, and pocket pets as well as exotics, endangered species, and farm animals. In her spare time Amanda loves to hike barefoot, quilt, read, and cook with her husband. She hopes to finish her undergraduate degree and apply to veterinary school in the next few years. Amanda and her husband Paul are owned by two sassy cats, Silvia and Daphne, a German Shepherd named Alice who is always getting into trouble, Milkbone, an Eyelash Crested Gecko, and Big Mac the Gourami.

Valerie started working as a veterinary assistant and receptionist at My Pet’s Vet in August 2015. Valerie has always had a passion for pets, and previously worked as a groomer of dogs and cats for several years. She is currently attending UWM to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences with a subspecialty in Clinical Lab Science. Valerie and her husband are owned by their dog Thor and by several guinea pigs named Carrots, Radish, Claudia and Elise.

Marina has worked as a veterinary assistant and receptionist at My Pet’s Vet since July 2015. She is currently taking school online through Madison Area Technical College. Marina has grown up loving animals and feels very fortunate to work with animals for a living. Her previous jobs included bathing at a grooming salon, working retail in a small pet store in Philadelphia, dog walking and pet sitting. Marina and her fiancée Dillon share their home with two crazy kitties. Their female cat named Bruce and male cat named Dude Luv keep the house full of energy, goofiness, surprises, and most importantly love.
